The Module Culture générale et communication professionnelle is a preparatory-level programme designed to prepare students in the field of international student preparation. Classes are held at Enerlab Academy in Asnières-sur-Seine, 15 minutes from central Paris.

Programme overview

Over 3 months, through work-study (apprenticeship or professionalisation contract) or initial training, the programme combines theoretical coursework, hands-on workshops and company placements. Work-study costs are fully covered by the employer (OPCO), and students receive a legally regulated monthly stipend.

Upon graduation, students enter the job market quickly, supported by Enerlab Academy's network of over 500 partner companies in the Île-de-France region, or continue into higher education.

Programme objectives

Goals of the programme:

Acquire the general knowledge expected in the BTS Culture générale et expression examination
Master written and oral professional communication in French
Understand contemporary societal issues (economics, ecology, digital technology, geopolitics)
Learn to argue, present and defend a point of view
Familiarise with the norms of French professional communication (emails, reports, meetings)

Admission & prerequisites

Required prerequisites and selection procedure:

International students and adults in career transition
Minimum B1/B2 level of French
Baccalauréat level or equivalent
Placement test on entry (written + oral)
Intention to apply for a BTS programme or professional pathway with a communication component
