Programme overview

The Module Mathématiques et sciences appliquées is a preparatory-level programme designed to prepare students in the field of international student preparation. Classes are held at Enerlab Academy in Asnières-sur-Seine, 15 minutes from central Paris.

Over 3 months, through work-study (apprenticeship or professionalisation contract) or initial training, the programme combines theoretical coursework, hands-on workshops and company placements. Work-study costs are fully covered by the employer (OPCO), and students receive a legally regulated monthly stipend.

Upon graduation, students enter the job market quickly, supported by Enerlab Academy's network of over 500 partner companies in the Île-de-France region, or continue into higher education.

Programme objectives

Goals of the programme:

  • Consolidate upper secondary mathematics (Première / Terminale level)
  • Strengthen applied sciences: physics, chemistry and basic statistics
  • Develop the rigorous mathematical reasoning expected in industrial and business BTS programmes
  • Master algebraic operations, functions, percentages and descriptive statistics
  • Prepare for financial mathematics (BTS in accounting and management)

Admission & prerequisites

Required prerequisites and selection procedure:

  • Baccalauréat level or equivalent (French, foreign or in progress)
  • Identified gaps in mathematics preventing admission to a BTS programme
  • Free placement test on entry
  • Adults in career transition towards a technical or business BTS
  • International students holding a Baccalauréat without a French science curriculum
